Community Development

Every Siksika member deserves a safe, healthy, and dignified place to live. Housing must be a priority — not just building new homes, but also removing condemned and abandoned structures that harm our community’s wellbeing.

We also need spaces that strengthen our unity — places to gather, celebrate, mourn, and heal. 

As Chief, I will work toward removing unsafe and burned-out structures and investing in new capital projects, and housing projects both on and off-reserve. 

Our Additions to Reserve Task Force, has made significant progress in creating and establishing an Urban Reserve as well as develop policies and procedures that will help Siksika Nation increase its borders and bring our territory back under our control.
